Een simpele common, die alleen goed is als hij in je GY ligt. Aangezien er in genoeg manieren zijn om dat te bereiken, kan het in het juiste deck erg fijn zijn om ongelimiteerd 1/2 tokens te maken.

En natuurlijk doe ik ook weer mee, met een 3/3 voor 3 mana. Een zombie in zwart. daar moet natuurlijk wat tegenover staan. Tuurlijk. Een zombie wil nog wel eens wat missen, en moet hij overeind worden gehouden door andere zombies. Behold!! The Limbless Soldier (plaatje klopt niet helemaal)

Kijk dit wordt hem helemaal. We hebben het hier over prachtige commons uit inistrad en wat zit er in elke set: een common zonder functie met alleen een type. dus ik vind dit wel een ideale kaart voor innistrad. Pointless creature for the win:

In Innistrad hebben de zombie vaak extra kosten in de vorm van beestjes uit je graveyard exilen.
Dat wilde ik versterken met een kaart die dat ook kan, maar meerdere keren.
Het probleem was alleen dat het een common moest zijn.
Daarom kon het dus alleen als er een beestje doodgaat en niet daarna. Ook is dat de reden dat er non-token staat.

Zo. En nu maar hopen dat Dustin niet zichzelf tot winnaar uitroept

Toelichting: Het is mij opgevallen dat de zombies alleen een 1-drop hebben in Innistrad, en een oninteressante 2-drop. Om een Innistrad zombie deck speelbaarder te maken, wil ik er een interessante blauwe 2-drop aan toevoegen. Vandaar dus deze zombie vogel die wanneer men nog niet door heeft dat het aan de kant van de Skaab staat (lees net het spel in komt), in de stad kan spioneren waar de humans zich verschuilen (lees je graveyard vullen.)

Toelichting:
Omdat ik Duress en Inquisition of Kozilek mis in Standard heb ik deze vervanger bedacht voor in Innistrad. Ik vind het ontzettend jammer dat Duress eruit ligt maar er wel een nieuwe Liliana is ontworpen. Wat mij betreft had deze common in Innistrad kunnen zitten en stiekem hoop ik dat deze alsnog verschijnt in de andere 2 sets van het Innistrad block.

Toelichting:
De kaart spreekt wel een beetje vanzelf. Z'n 2e ability heeft als flavour dat je 'm ook op iemand af kan sturen, alleen dat ie dan z'n andere opdrachten "vergeet".

Helaas ben ik het eens met GH: er zijn enkele inzendingen bij die veel te complex zijn voor een common. Alsjeblieft, doe jezelf een plezier en lees de opdracht voordat je je creatieve uitspattingen aan het grote publiek toevertrouwt, dat voorkomt een hoop teleurstellingen! Gelukkig zijn er ook een helehoop originele commons ingezonden, die zó in Innistrad hadden kunnen zitten. Heren, show me more!
