On the world of Innistrad, humans have always been pawns. For the mighty vampire families, humans are the source of blood and the foundation of their power. For the werewolf packs, humans are prey. For the ghouls and ghosts of the plane, humans are reminders of lives gone by, the despised living to be hunted and terrified. And for demons and devils, humans are targets for their hatred and torment.
Sorin was among the first generation of vampires created on Innistrad. He saw how his kind spread over the plane, feeding on and ultimately diminishing the populace. He argued for restraint, but the other vampire families resented his intrusion. Unknown to his kin, however, Sorin was a Planeswalker. He traveled the Multiverse searching for a solution to the grave situation on his home plane. Ultimately, he created the archangel Avacyn, a protector that would watch over the humans of Innistrad and serve as the symbol of hope. Thousands of years later, Innistrad is still afflicted with monstrous creatures, but thanks to Sorin's intervention, the Avacynian Church continues to lend its protection to the world's humans.
The fiendish mage Tibalt was born human, but immediately showed a predilection for inflicting pain. When a dark invocation caused his essence to be merged with infernal devils of Innistrad, his Planeswalker spark was ignited. He was free to traverse the Multiverse looking for new unfortunates to torment, but the innocent people of his native Innistrad were always his favorite victims.
Sorin, with his long-sighted, vampiric perspective, knows that humanity may lose its tenuous grip on survival if Innistrad's monstrous forces hunt too recklessly. The young pain-mage Tibalt, on the other hand, respects no authority but his own vicious whims. As they clash, neither will tolerate anything but the utter defeat of his foe. Who will prevail is up to you.

Ik hoop dat Sorin, Lord of Innistrad verschijnt; dat scheelt mij weer ruilen, want ik wil graag een exemplaar voor in Commander. 
Volgens mij komt er eentje in maart uit en eentje in september. Dat zijn er dus twee per jaar.
Ik koop ze zelf zelden, maar ben wel altijd benieuwd naar de Alternative art die er in zit.
Waarom altijd Nicol, die is nu wel genoeg aan bod geweest afgelopen tijd. Waarom niet iemand anders vs Yawgmoth.
Indeed. Zouden we dan eindelijk Yawgmoth zien? Waarschijnlijk 100% zeker niet maar dromen blijft leuk.
We hebben al Phyrexia vs the coalition gehad dus de kans daarop lijkt me vrij klein.
Hoe zit het eigenlijk met het verhaal (de mtg boeken)? Want volgens mij is een dueldeck een oorlog tussen 2 partijen/planeswalkers, of vergis ik me daarin aangezien ik die boeken niet lees
De uitkomst van dit duel deck lijkt me vrij duidelijk, Sorin kickt Tibalt's ass hardcore. Millenia aan pw ervaring vs een of andere crapgast die pas net komt kijken

Was in mijn ogen ook met bolas vs Ajani. Kom op, de meest ultieme bad ass uit magic (ms met uitzondering van yawgmoth) vs een nieuwe generatie kat van mirrodin. Die haarbal wordt zo uitgespuugd, lijkt me.
Wie weet wat die devil fusie van tibalt allemaal aan kennis en trucjes oplevert... we shall see i guess.
Als je duels speelt staat er bij Ajani's info dat hij de enige was die Nicol had uitgedaagd en het kon na vertellen. Dus tja dat zegt genoeg over dat katje.
dat hoeft niet te betekenen dat ajani van bolas heeft gewonnen. Hij kan ook gevlucht zijn voor bolas

Waarom werken ze niet netjes de oude planeswalkers af? Ik zit nog steeds te wachten op Sarkhan Vol vs. [insert none red/green opponent here].
Ik snapte de laatste release ook niet helemaal van de duals. Waar Niv in zat, het block gaat al naar ravnica en dan een ravnica-themed dual deck. Doe dan wat anders er tussen, zeker voor de mensen die niet Niv-geil zijn, zoals ik.
