ah, het verkrijgen van de loyalty counters gebruikt de stack niet
en daarom werkt het wel met doubling season en niet met stifle

dus gezien de wording zou doubling season niet moeten werken met planeswalkers, en stifle dus ook niet
CR 306.5b - A planeswalker is treated as if its text box included, "This permanent enters the battlefield with a number of loyalty counters on it equal to its printed loyalty number." This ability creates a replacement effect.

Voor zover ik weet kan dat niet. Want als de loyalty counters triggered waren als hij in het spel kwam, zou hij al dood gaan omdat hij 0 loyalty counters op zich heeft als de eerste keer state based effects worden gecheckt. Je kan de abilities natuurlijk wel counteren met stifle.

kan je met stifle ook planeswalkers counteren?
dus als je tegenstander een planeswalker cast speel jij stifle zodat de planeswalker zonder counters in het spel komt
de officiele ruling bij Doubling Season geeft mij de indruk dat planeswalkers hun counters dankzij een CIP (triggered ability)

Antwoord: Triggered abilities beginnen altijd met When, Whenever of At. Activated abilties hebben altijd een [cost]:[effect] notatie. Zie je dat, dan kun je het counteren.

An activated ability has a “Cost: Effect” format. Look for the colon. A triggered ability starts with “when”, “whenever”, or “at”.

Turn-based actions and special actions like the normal card draw, combat damage, or turning a face-down creature face up can’t be targeted.

It can target delayed triggered abilities. For example, a card that says “Whenever a player cycles a card, you may exile target creature. If you do, return that creature to the battlefield at the beginning of the end step.” triggers when a player cycles a card and creates a delayed trigger that happens at the beginning of the end step. You can choose to target the “at the beginning of the end step” trigger when it is placed on the stack at end of turn.
