Dat komt omdat wat je zegt, niet klopt.
Het gaat nu juist om het verschil tussen generic en colorless mana.
Eye of Ugin heeft het over generic mana, dus die tekst blijft gewoon 
. Dat worden GEEN "diamond" symbolen.
Reliquary Tower heeft het echter over colorless mana, dus dat wordt wel een "diamond" manasymbool in de errata.
dat het niet op de Eye of Ugin had kunnen staan.
dus aan de ene kant betekent het grijze rondje op Reliquary Tower wel 'diamond' mana, maar de 2 grijze rondjes op Eye of Ugin betekenen niet 2 'diamond' mana.
en dat is wel verwarrend.
Ja... maar wat is precies je punt?
alleen bestaan 'diamond' mana symbols nog maar een week..

En als Eye of Ugin wel het colorless gedeelte goedkoper had gemaakt, was het waarschijnlijk zoiets geweest als "Colorless Eldrazi spells you cast cost 
less to cast", zoals Edgewalker dat voor Clerics doet maar dan door ze met 
te verlagen.
Als je eenmaal begrijpt wat de vraag is... 
Maar nee helaas, nu merk je hoe verwarrend het eigenlijk was dat ze hetzelfde symbool gebruikten voor zowel colorless als generic mana.
Eye of Ugin geeft je korting op het generic gedeelte, dus dat wordt nog steeds weergegeven als .
Als je 1 Eye of Ugin hebt liggen, kost Kozilek, the Great Distortion dus 
, waarbij het kleurloze "diamond" manasymbool weergeeft.
Nou!! misschien is het wel Eye of Ugin.
Klopt dat? reduce je dan de 2 'diamond' mana?

Ok, dacht ik al. Zou een mooi landje zijn geweest. Womb of Ugin ofzo..
nee bestaat niet, maar je zou wel een Fist of Suns deck kunnen maken, dan hoef je alleen nog maar de andere 5 kleuren te betalen

CMC is altijd zonder Waste symbool, aangezien het een nummer is dat aangeeft hoeveel mana het in totaal moet zijn.

Kozilek’s triggered ability checks to see if you have fewer than seven cards in hand when you cast it. Kozilek is on the stack at this time and not in your hand. If you don’t, the ability won’t trigger at all. If the ability does trigger, it will check again as it tries to resolve. If you have seven or more cards in hand at that time, the ability won’t do anything.

To activate the last ability, there must be a legal target: a spell on the stack. That target will determine the value of X and the converted mana cost of the card you discard. You can’t activate the ability unless you can match the converted mana cost of a spell on the stack to that of a card in your hand.

The converted mana cost of a spell doesn’t change, even if it’s been cast using an alternative cost (such as an awaken cost). For example, the converted mana cost of a Sheer Drop (a spell with mana cost 2W) that’s been cast for its awaken cost of 5W is 3.

If there’s an X in the mana cost of the card you discard, that X is 0. Any X in the mana cost of the target spell will have whatever value was determined for it as the spell was cast.
