He, Waste Not is die kaart die door de community gemaakt is. Mensen konden kaart ideeen inleveren en daar is uiteindelijk eentje uit getrokken. Dat is dus Waste Not.

Er is weer een duidelijk Phyrexia-flavor mensen ^^

Wacht eens even. Ligt het aan het plaatje of wordt het cardframe ook echt anders? Ik zat net op Reddit en daar zeiden ze dat, nu ik naar dit plaatje kijk ben ik daar ook bang voor..

Even een edit. Ik vind net dit:

. Of het waar is weet ik niet, maar het kan wel kloppen.

Het klopt, want het staat op de site van Wizards:

1) The font

Since its inception, Magic has used off-the-shelf fonts on its cards. As a brand, we feel that we'll be better served by having our own unique proprietary font—something with a little edge and character that is still very readable.

In general, we liked the heaviness and shape of the "Matrix Bold" font we'd been using previously, so there are a lot of similarities between the old font and the new, named "Beleren," which should alleviate any jarring feeling when you mix the two together in decks.

2) The holofoil stamp

You'll notice a little silver oval in the bottom center of Waste Not. That's a new unique holofoil stamp that we're applying to all rares and mythic rares going forward. This stamp makes those cards feel more special, as well as guarantees authenticity.

Commons, uncommons, and basic lands will not feature this stamp.

3) The collector info

In the lower left of the card is a series of letters and numbers that indicate the card's collector number (122/269), rarity , set (M15), and language . The little dot between the set and the language will be a star on premium cards, so just about everything you'd ever need to know about a card's edition is in one easy-to-read place.

Making the bottom of each card black to accommodate this information was not an easy decision, and may be the most disconcerting part of this frame update, but it was done with the best of intentions. This information is machine-readable by recognition software at our production plants. It will help eliminate the rare packaging error, like cards sneaking into the wrong expansion's boosters.

4) Decreased border size

In order to fit all this cool new stuff on the cards, we've reduced the width of the black border by almost a millimeter all the way around. This reclaimed real estate allows us to have slightly bigger art and text boxes as well.

5) The designer credit

You'll notice that we gave you all credit for making this card in the place normally occupied by flavor text—"Designed by the Magic community." This is the first time we've ever given credit for a specific card design on the card itself, and it's you! You should be very proud! While every card going forward won't feature a designer credit (kinda sad, really), there are a handful of others in Magic 2015, specifically, that will. (You'll have to wait on those details! It's cool, I promise!)

Those are the main components of the card frame update. Here's another M15 card for comparison. This one isn't rare, so it has no stamp; is a creature, so it has a P/T box; and isn't black, so you can see the frame design more clearly. All in all, it is an impressive modernization of the card frame, one I'll be excited to get my hands on this summer with M15.

Iets tegen vervalsing klinkt op zich wel goed. Nu nog goed die boosters schudden dat je niet zo weet wat overal in zit.

Dat diamandje vind ik echt loos. Dat het zwart is onderaan vind ik dan eigenlijk wel weer wat hebben. Ziet er iets meer 'design' uit.

"Designed by the magic community" vind ik de meest loze aanpassing. Het haalt juist de flavor van de hele kaart onderuit. Daar had een toffe flavortekst kunnen staan die bij de kaart past. Maar goed.

Benieuwd hoe de alteraars denken over de nieuwe frame van toekomstige (mythic) rares.

En inderdaad, "Designed by the Magic community" staat er wel mooi, maar had geen flavor text moeten zijn.

Ik vind die Waste Not eigenlijk best wel een leuke kaart

Ik vind die dikkere zwarte rand onderaan echt superlelijk. Vooral bij niet-zwarte kaarten.

Die flavor tekst doet die kaart idd de das om voor mijn gevoel.
Meh ik weet niet wat ik van die lelijke rand moet zeggen, maar het zal wel even wennen worden en dan spelen we er weer mee xD

Ondanks het de zoveelste veranderingen en ook niet de laatste zal zijn, vindt ik dit toch wel een van de beste, omdat toch wat moeilijker te maken is om een kaart te die presies lijkt dat de echte mtg kaart druk is.

En zo dus fraude tegen tegaan vindt ik deze juist wel goed

Dat ze mana burn en legendary rule hebben veranderd, blijf bij mij nog zwaar op de maag. maar hier wennen jullie ook wel aan ^^ is niet dat de Magic wereld in elkaar stort omdat er minder ruimte in de kaart hebben

Bij Bazaar hoorde ik dat de mirage zoeklandjes in M15 komen, klopt dat? Ik lees er nog niets over op salvation...

De suggestie is wel vaker gemaakt maar ik heb er nog niets concreets over gelezen.

Die laatste is ook de promo kaart voor Duels of the Planeswalkers 2015.

Soul of Zendikar..? En MaRo zei dat ze in Khans iets gingen terugbrengen waar spelers lang om vroegen..?

Ik ruik steeds meer fetch... Hoop dat mijn neus gelijk heeft.

Ja, dat dacht ik dus ook. Het blijft far fetched (ha-ha), maar het kan!

Het lijkt me heel sterk dat ze fetch en shocks beide tegelijk standard legal gaan maken (ook al is het maar voor +/- 3 maanden)

Ik vraag me af wat er gebeurt als er reprints komen. Wordt fetch dan duurder of niet? Wie kan daar wat van zeggen?

Ik denk dat het meer een Modern Masters idee wordt. Populairder en even duur of ietwat minder duur maar wel keiduur nog

Jelmer, de fetches komen dan natuurlijk ook in Khan, anders zou MaRo's hint op de verkeerde set slaan.

En ja, het is vergezocht, maar een man mag hopen.. En het is wel heel toevallig dat ze in een core-set een block-naam gebruiken, toch?

Eindelijk weer interessante spoilers!

Ten eerste, er komen rares in de M15 starter decks. Naast deze rares zijn er ook andere kaarten die in de 30-kaarten decks zitten, tournooi-legaal zijn in alle tournooien waarin M15 legaal is, maar niet in M15 boosers zitten. De set telt dus eigenlijk 284(!) kaarten.
