Dat geloof ik best, maar we zijn nu in scars of mirrodin he. De mending was al weer een jaar of honder geleden. Hoe het precies zit weet ik niet, maar deze gozer is zeker weten niet zo jong als hij eruit ziet.

Ik heb de Time Spiral boeken gelezen, daarin komt hij voor.
En na even nalezen wil ik mijn schatting wel bijstellen, eerder 20-30 in time spiral. (Hij schijnt nog niet middle-aged te zijn.)

dat je de leeftijd van een creature/human/planewalker van een kaart weet... in mijn ogen is deze een paar maanden/weken oud

Ok, nu ik erover nadenk, Urza is een van de uitzonderingen. Hij ziet er wel een stuk cooler uit dan de rest.

Haha zo kan je het ook bekijken ja.
Ik wil deze kaart in een Deck gaan spelen maar ik moet dan nog wel een heel deck maken.

Eigenlijk raar dat al die planeswalker er jong uit willen zien. Als ik er een was dan zou ik rond de 50 jaar oud uit willen zien, kop vol met littekens, en 1 oog blind (en half kaal).
Althans, ik neem aan dat deze planeswalker al behoorlijk oud is in menselijke termen.

Ik heb een Rasputin Dreamweaver EDH deck met een blink-thema. Oftewel: zoveel mogelijk enter en leave the battlefield abilities triggeren. Deze past daar echt ZO goed in Lekker blinken en hij kan me nog helpen om damage door te krijgen ook. De ultimate is helemaal briljant, maar het gaat mij vooral om de +2.

@Michelle - Ik bedoelde gesprek, niet discussie, en het was niet ironisch bedoeld, ik ben zelf een groot genieter van oeverloos gezever, maar ik probeer me meestal in te houden want Magnus zit er bovenop natuurlijk ;-)

Emblems behave similarly to enchantments: They have an ability that, in a general sense, continually affects the game. The primary difference between them is that emblems aren’t permanents and don’t exist on the battlefield. Nothing in the game can remove an emblem, simply because no other spell or ability references them. Once you get an emblem, you keep it for the rest of the game. Emblems have no color, name, card type, or other characteristics beyond the listed ability.

Venser’s second ability doesn’t lock in what it applies to. That’s because the effect states a true thing about creatures, but doesn’t actually change the characteristics of those creatures. As a result, all creatures can’t be blocked that turn, including creatures you don’t control, creatures that weren’t on the battlefield at the time the ability resolved, and creatures that have lost all abilities.

Venser’s last ability creates an emblem with a triggered ability. The emblem is the source of the triggered ability. Because emblems are colorless, you can target permanents with protection from white or from blue, for example, with the triggered ability.

Whenever you cast a spell, the emblem’s ability triggers and goes on the stack on top of it. It will resolve before the spell does.

If you control more than one such emblem, each one’s ability will trigger separately whenever you cast a spell.
