Vroeger hadden ze wel vaker rare verwoordingen. Het heeft inderdaad weinig nut, en daarom heeft de huidige text dat er ook niet meer bij staan.
Vermoedelijk hadden ze het er ooit bij gezet om explicieter aan te geven dat het 
betalen maar voor een beurt laat aanvallen.

Rare wording heeft die 5th edition version. Waarom staat er 'this turn'? Het is toch elke beurt 'this turn'?
er zou achteraan de flavor moeten staan: "I'm an engeneer"
