Together Forever heeft geen replacement effect, maar een (delayed) triggered ability. Zie het woordje "When".
En hij triggert op doodgaan (van de battlefield naar de graveyard gaan), maar door het replacement effect van Isareth the Awakener gaat het creature met de corpse counter linea recta naar de exile zone en niet naar de graveyard, dus zal de delayed trigger van Together Forever NIET af gaan.
Ik heb laatst een nieuwe kaart aan een Kaalia of the Vast toegevoegd genaamt Together Forever. Nou wilde ik weten of ik met de replacement effect van Together Forever, mijn creatures terug in de hand kon stoppen inplaats van exilen? Omdat er een counter op ligt.
Het plaatsen van die counters doet me een beetje denken aan de oude stijl, zoals bijvoorbeeld Thelonite Monk. Ik vind 't op zich wel handig, maar ik denk dat als deze tekst niet op de kaart stond, ik sowieso wel een counter had geplaatst.
Hoe anders zie je een direct verschil tussen normale creatures en creatures die je terug hebt gehaald met Isareth? Ik vind het wel fijn hoor, zo'n reminder. Beetje suf om die er dan weer af te halen als dat verder geen nut heeft en juist voor verwarring zorgt.

De counter is een reminder, misschien omdat het een kaart uit een core set is en dus vooral gericht is op nieuwe spelers? Maar ik ben het met je eens, verwarrend is het wel.
Ik mis het nut van de corpse counter. Het zorgt in mijn optiek alleen voor onduidelijkheid, vandaar de vraag van Furanku

Isareth zegt dat het creature naar exile gaat, het counter heeft daar verder niks mee te maken. Een teruggehaald creature zonder counter gaat dus alsnog naar exile.

Stel ik heb Isareth the Awakener op het veld liggen, daarnaast speel ik Solemnity. Vervolgens val ik aan met Isareth en haal een creature terug, het gekozen creature krijgt geen Corpse Counter want Solemnity, zegt de corpse counter of het effect van Isareth of het creature naar de Exile gaat als het nog eens sterft?

Isareth’s triggered ability goes on the stack without a target. While that ability is resolving, you may pay X. When you do, a second ability triggers and you pick a target creature card to return. This is different from abilities that say “If you do . . .” in that players may cast spells and activate abilities after mana is paid and the target creature card is chosen, but before that card is returned.

Because all attacking creatures are chosen at once, a creature returned this way can’t attack during the same combat as it returns, even if it has haste.

If a card in your graveyard has X in its mana cost, X is considered to be 0.

If Isareth leaves the battlefield, the replacement effect continues to apply. If one of the creatures it returned would leave the battlefield, it’ll be exiled instead.

Because to die means to be put into a graveyard from the battlefield, a creature that is exiled instead doesn’t “die.” Abilities that would trigger when it dies won’t trigger.
