Als jij met mana-elfjes, Goryo’s Vengeance, Show and Tell of Sneak Attack een Elesh in wil cheaten, ga je gang. Dat ding wordt meteen gePath to Exiled of geploegd.
Ik gebruik wel een Emrakul die bijna niet dood te krijgen is waarmee ik het spel win, of een Griselbrand waarmee ik 7, 14 of misschien wel 21 kaarten pak om vervolgens het spel mee te winnen.
Dan nog liever Inkwell Leviathan, omdat die ook lastig te slopen is en islandwalk redelijk nuttig is, of een andere Eldrazi dikzak.
En Elesh Norn, die veegt allicht 't veld leeg voor ze kapot gaat 
. Al is dat e.v.t. meer een sideboard-kaart.

Denk dat Griselbrand ook nog wel populair blijft. Deze kan je weghalen en dan heb je niets meer liggen, Griselbrand vervangt zichzelf..

Emrakul blijft volgens mij het meest interessante beest om alternatief in het spel te sneaken, en ik zie Emrakul nog wel wat doorstijgen in waarde zolang ze daarvoor de beste keuze blijft. Of is er tegenwoordig een beter alternatief?
P.S. Hey Echelon, je bent wel een grapjas zeg. Zit je bij Dark Confidant zo enorm moeilijk te doen over de Nederlandse taal, terwijl je hieronder zelf laat zien dat je er niet al te veel van bakt. Even je spelfouten uitdesignen s.v.p.

@Echolon: Los van het feit dat je Emrakul niet kunt counteren, krijg je inderdaad een extra beurt.
Je announcet Emrakul. Die gaat dan als eerste op de stack. Als het casten afgerond is, gaat de trigger af. Die gaat dan (na het casten) bovenop Emrakul op de stack. De stack ziet er dan dus zo uit:

Als je deze spell cast, wat is dan de volgorde op de stack? Ligt Emrakul op de stack en daarbovenop de extra turn trigger of andersom? Kan iemand mij uitleggen hoe dit precies werkt? Bedankt alvast :-)

Omdat ie anders voor z'n combat step gewoon wat nieuws in play sneakt en daarmee aanvalt..? Nu is ie te laat om nog iets in play te sneaken en daar ook nog eens mee aan te vallen (gok ik even). Dat je dan wat tokens verliest is op dat moment niet meer zo heel interessant

Ja, je kunt dit doen in zijn declare attackers step; Emrakul krijgt 16 damage en gaat dood, maar de annihilator ligt al op de stack en jij moet 6 permanents (Goblin tokens?) saccen. Waarom zou je het zover laten komen en niet gewoon Emrakul afschieten voordat hij ermee aanvalt?
Overigens is het de trigger die target en niet de activated ability. Maar het klopt inderdaad dat het op dat moment geen spell is. (Want spells bestaan alleen op de stack.)
Ja, precies. Dus het is wel mogelijk om dit geintje te flikken bij zijn declare attackers step?

Vraag: Kan ik met Oblivion Ring Emrakul targeten?
Antwoord: Jazeker! De Ring target niet als spell. Het is gewoon een enchantment, die triggert wanneer hij op het battlefield ligt. En dat is geen spell, maar een ability, waar Emrakul geen protection van heeft.
Vraag: Ik heb een combo! Emrakul met Elvish Piper!
Antwoord: Helaas, dat werkt niet helemaal zoals je wilt. Je krijgt alleen een extra turn wanneer je Emrakul CAST. En dat is niet hetzelfde als "put on the battlefield". Met Elvish Piper krijg je dus wel erg goedkoop een 15/15, maar geen extra beurt. Je zult dus echt moeten betalen, of een andere manier vinden om hem te casten, zoals Fist of Suns of Intet, the Dreamer om extra turn te krijgen.

Annihilator abilities trigger and resolve during the declare attackers step. The defending player chooses and sacrifices the required number of permanents before they declare blockers. Any creatures sacrificed this way won’t be able to block.

If a creature with annihilator is attacking a planeswalker, and the defending player chooses to sacrifice that planeswalker, the attacking creature continues to attack. It may be blocked. If it isn’t blocked, it simply won’t deal combat damage to anything.

Emrakul can be targeted by spells that try to counter it (such as Lay Bare). Those spells will resolve, but the part of their effect that would counter Emrakul won’t do anything. Any other effects those spells have will work as normal.

“Protection from colored spells” means that Emrakul can’t be the target of colored spells (including colored Aura spells) or of abilities whose sources are colored spells (such as the “when you cast” ability of an Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre that’s been turned red by Painter’s Servant). It also means that all damage that would be dealt to Emrakul by colored spells is prevented. Like every protection ability, it works only while Emrakul is on the battlefield.

“Colored spells” is not synonymous with “colored instants and sorceries.” For example, if a player cycles Choking Tethers, its triggered ability may target Emrakul because Choking Tethers wasn’t cast as a spell.

Emrakul may be affected by colored spells that don’t target it or deal damage to it, including those that cause it to become blocked. Abilities of colored permanents (such as Journey to Nowhere) may target it. Auras may be moved onto it by abilities or by colored spells that don’t target it (such as Aura Graft).
