als ik Chalice of the Void op bijvoorbeeld 2 leg heeft hij dan nog wel CMC 0? Kortom word hij dan gecounterd door een Chalice of the Void die al op 0 ligt?

Scepter laat je de copy casten, dus cast je een spell.
Manacost wordt meegecopy'd, dus je Silence copy heeft een mana cost van 
en een converted manacost van 1.

Hey,
Ik had nog een klein vraagje over deze kaart.
Stel:
De tegenstander heeft een Chalice of the Void in het spel liggen dat alles met CMC 1 countert.
Ik heb een Isochron Scepter liggen met een kaart erop geimprint met CC 1 bijv. een Silence.
Als ik nu die ability van de Chalice speel, wordt de Silence dan gecountert?
met voorbaat dank!

Whenever a player casts a spell with converted mana cost equal to the number of charge counters on Chalice of the Void, counter that spell.

Vraag: Ik heb een Chalice of the Void met 2 counters erop en mijn tegenstander speelt een Hypnotic Specter. Kan ik dan ervoor zorgen dat de Chalice de Specter countert door er snel een counter op te plaatsen met bijvoorbeeld Clockspinning?
Antwoord: Nee, je bent dan al te laat. Je mag pas reageren door er een counter op te leggen nadat de spell geplayed is en op de stack ligt. Maar dat is al te laat voor de Chalice om te triggeren.
Vraag: Ik heb een Chalice of the Void 3 counters erop en een Trinisphere in het spel. Worden nu alle spells die 3 of minder kosten gecountered?
Antwoord: Nee, want Chalice of the Void kijkt naar de converted mana cost (hier meer info over CMC), niet naar wat je er werkelijk voor betaalt.

A mana cost of XX means that you pay twice X. If you want X to be 3, you pay 6 to cast Chalice of the Void.

The number of counters on Chalice of the Void matters only at the time the spell is cast. Changing the number of charge counters on Chalice of the Void after a spell has been cast won’t change whether the ability counters the spell.

If there are zero charge counters on Chalice of the Void, it counters each spell with a converted mana cost of 0. This includes face-down creature spells cast with morph’s alternative cost.

Chalice of the Void has to be on the battlefield at the end of casting a spell for the ability to trigger. If you sacrifice Chalice of the Void as a cost to cast a spell, its ability can’t trigger. However, if it leaves the battlefield once its ability has triggered, that ability will still counter the spell.
