Als je metalcraft hebt doet deze niets met Sigil Captain.
Gets zegt niet zo veel over wanneer de ability ingaat. Zolang het geen triggered ability is kan je ervan uitgaan dat hij altijd werkt (op de battlefield), tenzij anders vermeld.
Als je het metalcraft hebt is deze altijd 3/3 op de battlefield, ook bij het betreden. Hij zal je Sigil Captain dus niet triggeren.
Bonusinfo: Sigil Captain heeft ook 'if that creature is 1/1' in zijn ability staan. Dat zorgt ervoor dat hij bij het resolven van zijn ability nog een keer kijkt of je beest wel echt een 1/1 is. Als je ondertussen andere P/T hebt krijg je alsnog geen counters.
Bonus bonusinfo: Bij de Sigil Captain rulings (onder de kaart, onder de toernooi info) staat dit ook.

For the purposes of blocking (either because Auriok Sunchaser is attacking or because a creature with flying is attacking Auriok Sunchaser’s controller), whether Auriok Sunchaser has flying is checked only as the declare blockers step begins.

If Auriok Sunchaser blocks a creature with flying, causing it to lose flying (by destroying an artifact its controller controls, for example) won’t change that.
